"We're very disappointed with the government's decision because we won the contract in a fair and open competitive bidding process," Michel Bonin, spokesman for Royal LePage Relocation Services, said Friday.

The contract to handle relocation services for about 12,000 civil servants, members of the Canadian Forces and RCMP members each year was awarded in December 2002 and is worth $200 million annually for five years.

Bonin said Royal LePage, a unit of the Brascan conglomerate (TSX:BNN.A), asked the federal government last week for more information about the allegations.
