Bob Bolduc, owner of Piche's Ski and Sport Shop in Gilford, said that while snow levels may be down, business remains good.
Having owned the business for 24 years, Bolduc says that by carrying a diverse line of goods for numerous different sports, his business survives varying weather conditions.
"We are coming off a real good season, but we have some depth because we have been here for a while," he remarked.
Bolduc said while he is nervous about ski sales next year as a result of the low snow totals, his shop has been busy sharpening edges and tuning-up skis.
One aspect of his business he said has been flourishing - due in part to the lack of snow - has been the sale and service of ice skates.
"It has been phenomenal, and we have been sharpening skates, replacing blades and selling new pairs," he said.
The Alberg Ski and Sports Shop, located in Gilford, is also enjoying record sales of ski equipment and clothing.
