Born and raised in northeastern New Mexico, Mr. Boland studied at the renowned San Francisco Art Institute for a year before finishing his college career at Occidental College in Los Angeles.Mr. Boland graduated from Occidental with a BA in Fine Art and Sociology, and received honors from the Sociology department with distinction.
Mr. Boland attended law school at the University of Arizona, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2003.Mr. Boland has worked in the Pima County Public Defenders Office and as criminal defense attorney in Multnomah County and Washington Counties.Mr. Boland is a member of the American Bar Association, the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Young Lawyers Section of the Multnomah County Bar Association.
