Christopher Bogden
Christopher Bogden is a principal with INSPIRITAS Corporation.For more than 25 years he has pursued a career dedicated to school improvement and educational reform.Having directed public schools and school districts across the country in urban, suburban and rural settings, he has a thorough understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced by today's school leaders.Dr. Bogden specializes in working with educational organizations and coaching educational leaders as they pursue their unique school improvement agendas.
As a high school principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent, Dr. Bogden has acquired a thorough understanding and appreciation for the complex and unique nature of schools and school districts.As a Vice President for Edison Schools, he has been on the cutting edge of whole school reform, developing and supervising the operations of charter schools across the Northeast.In the context of school/district improvement and organizational change, his expertise includes superintendent/school board communication, team building, collective bargaining, site-based management strategies, and team building.
Dr. Bogden has presented nationally and regionally on these topics for the American Association of School Administrators (AASA), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), National School Institute Conference, the National Institute of Education, the Alaska Association of Secondary School Principals, Cattaragus Alleghany Erie Wyoming BOCES, Monroe County School Boards Association, and the Institute for Law and Education at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Bogden received his B.S and M.S. degrees from Cornell University and his Ed.D. in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University.He is qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is a certified facilitator for the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
