   Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Honours) in Geography from the University of Windsor and a Master of Arts degree in planning from the University of Windsor and Wayne State. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration part-time through the University Victoria.
   
   Steve has developed a reputation specializing in technological consulting, strategic planning, organizational development, and business planning. Among his skills are directing teams in research, writing, planning, and project management. Steve was responsible for developing and coordinating a successful career transition program for over 75 displaced resource industry workers. As a Strategic Planner, Steve developed and implemented a 35-year economic strategic policy plan for the Town of Kingsville, Ontario that earned the "Gold Award" from the Economic Development Council of Ontario.
   
   As Operations & Technical Manager for the CITI project, Steve has played a leading role in the development of Canada's Clearinghouse of Smart Communities and directed the development of a unique benchmarking process that allows communities to measure success against national and international peers.
   
   Steve is currently an Associate Professor at Royal Roads University and the designer of the e-commerce course for their MBA program. He has also recently been providing his services to Disney Interactive in creating and delivering web-based children's activity concepts and in designing and maintaining intranet functional specification documents for their video game products.
