Mr. Blizzard was instrumental, through gifts of very expensive equipment, in getting the machine technology program at the Laconia Community Technical College off the ground. He is still closely connected with the college and advises that department on curricula issues.
Mr. Blizzard explained that his marina is involved with tuition assistance for students enrolled in the marine mechanics program. The program has one of the top marine mechanics as an instructor.
