...
Michael, who went to the Colorado Institute for Art for two years, is an independent film maker who would like to have other film makers come to their shop too. He began his career at 14 years old in short films by making skateboarding videos with his friends.
Since then, he has produced 10 short films and hopes to have a film festival day where residents can come in, drink coffee, view art and socialize. He already has several of his own art works on the wall.
"We want it to be comfortable for everyone here," Shon said.
An art, poetry, musician and photography atmosphere is what the new owners would like The Bliss Coffee House to show.
Michael, who was the manager at the Tornveil Coffee House in Colorado Springs for about a year, and Shon lived in the Springs for several years before coming back to Fort Morgan to be closer to family.
She worked in several medical groups in Fort Morgan before taking an accounting position at the Wal-Mart in Sterling, where they still live. As the new owners of The Bliss Coffee House, Shon and Michael are still on the search to find a house in Fort Morgan.

"We really want the artists and musicians and the rest of the community to have a place where they can feel comfortable," Michael said. "It is so neat to see them smile doing something they love."
