Salon owner, Jan Bliss, has been in the industry for over 25 years.She has an extensive educational background that includes training at the Aveda institute in London, Graham Webb Academy, Tigi, Joico, Schwarzkopf, Paul Mitchell, Rusk & Michael Cole.She also studied under salon psychologist, Dr. Lew.Jan has a passion for design cutting and color enhancements and is a color coordinator at Salon Bliss.She enjoys working with curly and fine to medium textured hair.Jan opened Salon Bliss in 1993 and has expanded the business three times to accommodate the high volume of clientele.Salon Bliss has since been voted the #1 Salon & Day Spa in Johnson County for 9 years in a row by Sun Publications.Outside of the salon Jan enjoys reading, working out, travel, candle making and of course, shopping with her two grand-children.Jan has a love for horses and owns four.In her spare time you can find her at the farm with Riley, Tango, Maia and Stella.
