   Bruce Bliss, our associate pastor for evangelism and discipleship, comes most recently to us from South Shore Community Church just south of Boston where he served as a zone pastor in a thriving cell church. Previous to that he has served as senior pastor to congregations in Massachusetts, Miami, Brooklyn, and suburban Bedford Hills, NY. He also was Chicago Ministries Director over the urban churches in that city for five years.
   
   Bruce is the son of missionary parents who served in Indonesia from 1950 to 1975 and has a great heart for all peoples. He is a graduate of Houghton College, Houghton, New York, and has a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Bruce has been active in our denomination's prayer movement and served for three years as Dean of the College of Prayer here in the Southeast.
