   East to west and back again, Angela comes to TIMSC with a scientific background and years of environmental education experience from Tennessee to Seattle to Georgia. After receiving her MS in Environmental Science and interning at the Tennessee Aquarium, Angela was employed as an instructor and interpretive ranger at state and federal parks in South Dakota and Washington before working at a residential environmental facility in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. With the call of the coast, Angela meandered her way to Georgia with work associated with the GA 4-H programs. This work led her to a facility on Tybee where she developed residential programs coinciding with state classroom standards of Georgia. After several years in residential environmental education, Angela decided to try a new twist and join the TIMSC team as the Program Director. Although new, Angela has a plethora of items on her list of responsibilities: restructuring the classes, developing new programs, and further developing our volunteer forces.
