   Joanna Buzar Blinn, Director of program development, Dreams Come True of Jacksonville Inc.
   
   Joanna Buzar Blinn enjoys making dreams come true, so much that she made it her career.
   
   Blinn, 30, is director of program development for Dreams Come True of Jacksonville Inc., which raises money to sponsor the dreams of local children with chronic illnesses.
   
   "I loved that it was local and that we only served kids," she said."We are directly making a difference in the community."
   
   Blinn began her work with Dreams Come True as a volunteer on the Young Professionals board, and took the director position once it opened.Before her work with Dreams Come True, Blinn worked for Brooks Rehabilitation System, and she was a volunteer captain for Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005.
   
   "I just think it's important to give back," she said." I also like to give back to other things that I'm interested in, like the arts, and different projects like the Super Bowl.It's a lot of fun."
   
   Blinn also serves on The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital and is involved with The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens' Up & Cummers group.Originally from Jacksonville, Blinn graduated from Florida State University with master's and bachelor's degrees in communications.She intends to remain in the area to fulfill her love of community service.
   
   "I'm really happy here," she said.
