   FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - April 20, 2000 - Dr. Steven J. ChildU's "The Learning Odyssey" (TLO) is a revolutionary new program that provides students with access to anytime, anywhere learning from any Internet-connected computer- whether in the classroom, at home or in an after-school program.
   
   As Vice President of Staff Development/Curriculum, Blinder will be responsible for creating an online professional development program for teachers, as well as for overseeing the team that assists educators incorporate TLO into their classroom activities. Additionally, Blinder will supervise curriculum development in the Language Arts area.
   
   Blinder has an extensive education background and prior to joining ChildU was Principal for two different elementary schools in Palm Beach County, Calusa Elementary and Lantana Elementary. He is also part of the Field Study Faculty at Nova Southeastern University.
   
   Blinder has been an educator since 1984 and is certified in elementary education grades 1-6, reading K-12, ESOL and as a school principal. He holds a Bachelors in elementary education from Florida Atlantic University and graduate degrees in educational leadership, curriculum and instruction and elementary education from Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University.
   
   Blinder is a resident of Plantation, Florida.
