Leo has recently joined McMahon as part of the firms' commitment and focus on the Canadian marketplace.He is President of the National Private Club Practice, based in Toronto, Ontario.
The National Private Club Practice provides planning, operations review, training and recruitment services to private clubs in Canada.
Leo has over 30 years experience in club management, both as an operator and as a consultant.He has managed some of the premier golf clubs in Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario).Leo has assisted private clubs with planning and operations effectiveness.As well he has been highly active in recruitment, ensuring the "right fit for the right club".
Leo is a graduate of the Hotel Management program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, past member of the National Manpower Strategy Committee for the Tourism Industry and past Chairman, Alberta and Canadian Tourism/Hospitality Council.
He has been a long time member of the Canadian Society of Club Managers and Club Managers Association of America and served on the following Boards:
