Mr Blight was a Director of SunRice Australia from 1969-2003 and is now the Rice Industry Ambassador. He is Chairman of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation District Farmers Co-operative Ltd and Chairman of Encos Global Systems Ltd. He is a Director of several private and family company businesses.
