   Greg Blezard, 46, co-founded Green Standards to provide corporates with the opportunity to take positive action and end the part they play in the damage being done to the environment. With the arrival of two young children, he was compelled to take responsibility and ensure that a world remains for them to enjoy as they grow up.
   
   As Green Standards Chief Executive Officer, Greg is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation. This has included taking Green Standards from concept to European solutions delivery to multinationals within 18 months. His vision is set for a successful global business with an inspired, positive culture that enables the Green Standards team to thrive; deliver support to a wide range of charities; and significantly reduce the quantities of corporate disposals going to landfill.
   
   Greg draws on a raft of high-level corporate experience, which includes Director of Customer Services at Cable & Wireless Communications where he headed up the strategy and implementation of change programmes in UK and Europe. As Director of Operational Development at ntl he was responsible for the operational launch of digital TV, Internet services, TV Internet, high speed modems and mobile communications to the consumer market place. Prior to that, as Head of Group Re-engineering with Alliance & Leicester Bank, Greg created the group wide service delivery strategy to provide world-class customer service through multiple channels and call centres to a customer base of circa 5.5 million.
   
   A life long mountaineer and climber, Greg has climbed throughout Europe, North America, South America and the Himalaya, soloing many alpine peaks and Denali in Alaska. He is also an ocean sailor and it is through climbing and sailing that he attained a broader understanding and perspective of the damage being done to the environment on a global basis and enhanced his commitment to ensure that pattern is reversed.
   
   Greg lives in Bath with his wife and two children, who he loves to spend as much time with as possible.
