Greg is a partner in the commercial group.Although he has broad commercial and litigation experience, his principal areas of work are in the commercial area with a particular focus on:
Banking and finance - Greg has acted on the sale of loan portfolios for financial institutions, acquisition of finance companies, registration and documentation of relationships between finance institutions and intermediaries and appointment of receivers and managers to businesses including motor dealerships Acquisitions - Greg has been involved in numerous acquisitions and disposals of businesses and companies including those operating in the industries of food, distribution, finance, information technology and medical products Importation and distribution - Greg acts for clients involved in importation and distribution including in the food, footwear, IT and medical products industries.He negotiates and documents clients' distribution arrangements, dealings with government authorities such as ANZFA, TGA, and Customs, and acts in disputes between clients and their suppliers and competitors Building and Construction - Greg is involved in the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts and resolution of disputes arising in the construction industry Commercial advisory - Greg advises clients on compliance issues, Corporations Law and Corporate Governance.
Greg is a member of the Food & Beverage Importers Association and the Intellectual Property Association.
