Julia Blevins started with AAFES in September 2002 as an Office Assistant in the Military Star card division. She was promoted into management and moved to FA as an Accounting Technician. She returned to Military Star card as a Customer Service Technician and is currently there now.
Julia has traveled with her husband throughout his 20 year Naval career all over the world. She was appointed Ombudsman by the Captain of Command at several of his assignments and was required to work in the Ombudsman Assembly Office by the Admiral.
Julia is of Cherokee descent and has had the privilege of working with the Cherokee Tribe, Blackfoot Tribe, Mohegan Tribe and the Mashantucket Pequot. One important thing she learned is to teach the young to carry on the traditions.
