Our engineers and technical specialists will handle support issues , from the routine to the most complex , said Jerry Blevins , Vice-President , NCR's Americas Customer Care Center.For global customers , NCR currently provides deep-level engineering support on high availability computer hardware and software ( operating systems and applications ) out of Columbia.This will continue.In addition to high availability networking for Cisco Systems , Nortel Networks and other network infrastructure solutions , the facility supports a broad range of multi-vendor products and technologies , as well as NCR's store automation solutions.Four customer support centers will be combined into one streamlined integrated operation.These activities will increase NCR's Columbia-based workforce to approximately 700 within a year.
