   Phrases such as "In God we trust," "One nation under God," and Ohio's state motto, "With God all things are possible," are being attacked, said Adam Blevins, chairman of College Republicans at OSU-Lima. Blevins said the group will protest with signs for four hours Saturday, hoping to raise awareness about court cases across the country. While a case filed by Michael Newdow alleging that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance endorsed religion received lots of media play, another of Newdow's lawsuits garnered no attention, Blevins said. Recently, Newdow sued over prayer at presidential inaugurations and lost. "If it went the other way, we would have all heard about it," Blevins said. "We're just trying to raise awareness and get people interested." Blevins said the country was founded with acknowledgement of God and that people's rights to acknowledge God are being taken away. Courts are too often ruling in favor of a nonbelieving minority, Blevins said. "We have just as much of a right to choose to practice and acknowledge a particular faith as they have to choose not to," Blevins said.
