   "Over time, this registry should provide a rich database that will reflect the long-term efficacy and safety experience observed in patients being treated with Increlex, as well as provide insights into the medical and scientific features of severe Primary IGFD, and the patients who suffer from it," explains Sandra L. Blethen, M.D., Ph.D., vice president, Medical Affairs at Tercica."We have done a great deal of research to develop this patient registry and have found that physicians are very supportive of this program and value Tercica's initiative."Dr. Blethen was one of the original designers and, for many years, medical director of the National Cooperative Growth Study (NCGS), Genentech's database containing 100,000 patient years of children on recombinant human growth hormone therapy.
