   Mashi has spent the past 16 years developing Member to Member, the mutual aid program within Elderplan, a Social Health Maintenance Organization in Brooklyn, NY. She has successfully integrated the TB model into a corporate health care setting and has tested variations on service delivery and redemption options. In addition, Member to Member has hosted delegations of people interested in TBs from around the world, including Japan, Poland, Singapore and Israel. She has also served as a Regional Coordinator, acting as an expert liaison for TBUSA to people in her geographic area who are interested in starting a TB initiative in their community. Prior to TBUSA, Mashi received a M.A. from NYU and was the director of a therapeutic recreation program in a long-term care setting.

   Mashi Blech is a pioneer of the Time Dollar movement. She has spent the past 16 years developing Member to Member, a successful Time Dollar mutual aid program within Elderplan, a Social Health Maintenance Organization in Brooklyn, New York. By empowering older adults to help each other, Member to Member has built a community of caring in a health plan setting. Mashi has successfully integrated the Time Dollar model into a corporate health care setting and has tested variations on service delivery and redemption options.
   
   Contributions to Time Dollar USA For the past year, Mashi has been a part of the Time Dollar Network planning committee, a group of seasoned Time Dollar practitioners who have been charting the path of the Time Dollar Network and Time Dollar USA. She has also served as a Regional Coordinator, acting as an expert liaison for Time Dollar USA to people in her geographic area who are interested in starting a Time Dollar initiative in their community. In addition, Member to Member has hosted delegations of people interested in Time Dollars from around the world, including Japan, Poland, Singapore and Israel. Other special achievements of the program include a 1999 President's award from the Points of Light Foundation, and in 2003 it completed a 2-year study of outcomes funded by a grant from the Samuels Foundation.
