Sam Bleakney

Sam BleakneySam Bleakney, BSSc, FCA, is Finance Partner at Edinburgh Partners, responsible for all accounting and back office support functions.He joined the firm from JP Morgan, where he was Head of Business Development for the bank's investment administration and fund accounting unit based in Edinburgh.A former Finance Director of Stocktrade, the execution-only brokerage division of Brewin Dolphin Holdings, he also spent 10 years at Templeton Investment Management, where he held a number of finance and investment accounting roles, including that of European Chief Financial Officer.He holds a degree in business administration and accounting from Queen's University, Belfast and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Edinburgh Partners has also hired Sam Bleakney, former chief financial officer at JP Morgan Chase's investment administration arm and a former finance director of Stocktrade, as head of finance.

Bleakney and Robertson will join a team that already includes Nairn, Graham Campbell, David Erskine, Kenny Greig and Stephen Anderson, all of whom previously worked at Swip.
