   Ms. Blazer's responsibilities include drafting and implementing global privacy policies; counseling clients on privacy issues impacting Wyeth's marketing, research, employee relations and other activities; and reviewing and drafting privacy provisions for vendor contracts, including creation of template privacy language. Ms. Blazer serves on the IPPC Board of Directors and various IPPC working groups. Prior to joining Wyeth, she served as Counsel at Aetna, where her responsibilities included supporting the only units of the company involved in research and healthcare informatics. At Aetna, she focused on HIPAA and other privacy laws affecting use of medical information. Ms. Blazer speaks on U.S. and global privacy issues, focusing most recently on their impact on pharmaceutical manufacturers and research. Ms. Blazer is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and she received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Cardozo Law Review.
