   Greater Media / Boston announces that Grace Blazer has been named program director of WTKK 96.9FM Talk. She will begin her new duties on Monday, June 4th.
   
   Blazer previously spent 11 years at WPHT-AM in Philadelphia, where she served the first five years as Executive Producer and the past six years as Program Director. Under Blazer,s leadership, "The Big Talker 1210" became Philly's number one talk station. Among her many accomplishments, the Philadelphia native is the creator and architect of the highly successful, and local, Michael Smerconish program. Prior to joining WPHT, she was the morning news editor and producer at KDKA in Pittsburgh.
   
   "I am very excited to have Grace join us at this point in WTKK,s development," said Greater Media / Boston Vice President & Market Manager Phil Redo. ,Her energy, experience and fresh view of the market is exactly what we are looking for.,
   
   "The opportunity to guide and develop a major market FM Talk radio station with Phil Redo and Greater Media / Boston speaks for itself,, said Blazer. ,When I made the difficult decision to leave CBS in order to evaluate my career goals, this position was exactly the kind of challenge I had in mind."
   
   She added, "Frankly, I had no idea it would present itself so quickly. By establishing a creative collaboration with Phil and his staff, and with the legendary support of Greater Media, I'm confident that 96.9FM-WTKK will firmly establish itself among New England,s and America's best radio brands."
   
   Blazer received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing with a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.
