   "There is no immediate evidence that the population is in danger, but we do know it is under a lot of pressure," said Reginald Blaylock, associate research professor with the USM department of coastal sciences.

   Dr. Reginald Blaylock is a parasitologist and fish health researcher. He is a Faculty member at the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory , University of Southern Mississippi , and one of the researchers involved in a project to investigate culture of red snapper for stock enhancement. The title of Dr. Blaylock's talk is : The US Gulf of Mexico Marine Stock Enhancement Program ( USGMMSEP ) : the use of Aquaculture Technology in Responsible Stock Enhancement".
