Born October 3, 1915, in Albany, Mr. Blaylock was a retired carpenter and farmer. He attended Georgia Normal School (now Albany State University). He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jamesena White-Blaylock of Albany; three sons, Randolph Blaylock of Columbus, James "Jimmy" Blaylock of Stone Mountain and Gregory Blaylock of Saitama, Japan; six daughters, Olivia Lee of Burtonsville, Md., Gloria Blaylock of Albany, Geralyn Few of Warner Robins, Joan Sylvester of Decatur, Wanda Martin of Lithonia and Debra Hill of Lithia Springs; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
