   EDMOND J. BLAUSTEN, Director Mr. Blausten has more than twenty years experience in the communications and technology industry worldwide, having held management positions with ITT World Communications, EDS (Electronic Data Systems), GTECH Corporation and Capital One Financial CP, all listed companies on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Blausten also represents the U.S. Government in international venues as an industry expert in the field of data and information communications and holds several positions chairing committees of the United Nations in International Telecommunications.
   
   Presently he is Chief Operating Officer of LCI SmartPen, Inc. USA. LCI Technology Group (LCI) is comprised of 35 companies active in the field of information and communications technology. LCI companies employ 1,100 staff worldwide. Their employees are highly specialized ICT consultants, developers, implementers and project managers. They provide their knowledge to more than 400 leading companies and governments.
   
   Before his position with LCI, Mr. Blausten was the Chief Technology Officer of Capital One. Capital One is one of the top five credit card companies in the U.S. generating credit card transactions with a value of $36 billion per year and has issued more than 30 million credit cards.
   
   As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Ed Blausten was responsible for steering Capital One through the maze of technology alternatives into the future. Mr. Blausten headed up the Technology Futures Group where the forward thinking, research and analysis of new technology takes place. Mr. Blausten has led the analysis of multiple areas of technology affecting the finance industry, including Smart Card efforts, biometric identification as well as pedabyte-sized data warehouse mining.
   
   Before joining Capital One, Mr. Blausten served as Chief Technical Officer of the WorldServ business unit at GTECH Corporation. GTECH is the world's leading supplier of online lottery systems and services, providing customized solutions for lotteries, governments, and corporations on six continents.
   
   He was responsible for the design, definition and integration of the latest technology into corporate communication networks (voice, data and image); connecting over ½ million locations worldwide, as well as the processing systems and centers involved in providing service to multi-stage government transaction automated programs.
   
   Preceding GTECH, Mr. Blausten was Vice President, WAN for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). He managed the joint venture between EDS and Telefónica de España, while serving as Managing Director, Pacific & Far East for EDS based in Tokyo and Singapore.
   
   Mr. Blausten's education includes University of Phoenix, M.B.A. program in Technology; Fairleigh Dickinson, M.S.E.E. program in Bio-Engineering/Cybernetics; Moravian College Lehigh, PA, B.S. in Physics.
