Robert Drake Blaugher, 82, formerly of Louisville, Ky., and Forest Hills, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, in West Penn Hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1919, in Homestead, a son of the late Rev. Matthew and Edith Blaugher. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a sales representative for Milliken Carpets in both the Pittsburgh and Louisville areas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served as ship's chaplain during World War II, and had graduated from Eastern Nazarene College. While residing in Louisville, he was a member of the Louisville Assembly of God Church, was a Kentucky Colonel and a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian June Blaugher, on Sept. 10, 2000; a brother, William Blaugher; four sisters, Melcina Marriot, Erma Irons, and twin sisters, Joan and Anna Blaugher. He is survived by a daughter, Nedra McCloskey and her husband, Richard, of North Huntingdon; four grandchildren, Casey June Clipper, Tandy Petrush, and Erin and Kendall McCloskey; and five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Tylor, Kassidy, Alec and Bradley.
