Sales & Marketing VP Steve Blattspieler resigned from Capcom effective Friday , Feb. 16. He described the move -- which he inititated -- as very amicable but reflecting the realities of today's business. Steve's plans are for a long vacation altho we'll see him at next month's ASI Show. Capcom itself will remain active in the coin-op market , but has no plans to replace Steve according to Director of Sales Satinder Bhutani. I went to Capcom and pointed out that changes in the nature of the business that make my position unnecessary , Steve told RePlay. Capcom has graciously allowed me to continue using this office , phone , fax and email so it is a very friendly parting. Just a sign of times. Speaking to this publication today , Satinder Bhutani advised : We are still active in the coin-op market with games such as Capcom vs. SNK ( currently third on RePlay's software chart ) . And , Satinder added , we still have additionial coin-operated video games coming for the next fiscal year. Our next title will be Pro Gear on our CPS-II platform , due later this month or early in March..
