Pat Blaszkowski is the French teacher at LVPA.She is a resident of Bethlehem Township, moving to the area from North Metro Atlanta, Georgia in October 2000.She is a 1978 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, cum laude, with BS degrees in Secondary Education of French and German.Pat has been married to Dennis Blaszkowski since June 3, 1978, and has 2 grown children.

A native of Ridley Park, PA, Pat and her family moved several times as her husband was relocated for his job to Allison Park, PA, Shippensburg, PA, Birmingham, AL, and Atlanta, GA.His transfer to Parsippany, NJ brought the family to Bethlehem.While being a stay-at-home mom, Pat worked as a substitute teacher, as well as an American Red Cross /YMCA Swimming and Lifeguard Training Instructor.Pat was also a PIAA / YMCA swimming and diving official, and an age-group swim coach.Once they were settled in Bethlehem, she worked full time as an administrative assistant for the American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley.She is an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED instructor, and is fluent in American Sign Language.Pat is a musician, playing clarinet, saxophone, and flute.She played in her high school band, in the IUP Marching Band, in the Shippensburg Community Band, and in the Dickinson College Band.Pat was drawn to LVPA by her love of music, and her daughter's love of dance.She is honored to be a part of the school's dedicated faculty.
