Marek Blaszczyk, the Director of Reymontowka Manor House and the host for Global Volunteers for the past 14 years is very happy that in 2006 he will be able to organize an even more comfortable stay for his dear volunteers.A year ago along with replacing radiators, windows and some floors, he added a spacious prep/meeting room for the volunteers, and a charming café in the basement.

Poland Volunteer Program Dates

Marek Blaszczyk, the Director of Reymontowka Manor House and the host for Global Volunteers for the past 17 years is very happy that in the summer of 2007 he could establish the wireless Internet connection at Reymontowka.

Learning in PolandMarek also replaced the furniture in most of the rooms.

Panelists included: An Wei, president of the Sino-American Society of Shaanxi Province, China; Dr. Delia Asoltanei of Romania, medical director of Tutova Hospital; Marek Blaszczyk, director of a cultural center in Siedlce, Poland; Carolina Ezeta of the Technological University of Mexico in Queretaro; and Lutheran Bishop Owdenberg Mdegella of Tanzania.

Marek Blaszczyk described how U.S. volunteers, contributions have touched the Polish people. ,The volunteers put their whole hearts into this work and the Polish people are impressed by their openness, patience and understanding,, said Blaszczyk. ,Last fall, we celebrated our 2,000th volunteer.

Our primary host contact is Marek Blaszczyk, director of Reymontowka, who has hosted our teams since 1990.

Don Estes introduced three Polish Friends: Dr. Henryk Brodowski-(Governor of one of their territories ), Marek Blaszczyk (Director), and Peter J. They talked a bit about relationships with America, and believe it or not, the Polish people are high supporters of Americans.
