Paul Bland is Of Counsel to the Sturdevant Law Firm.
He represents plaintiffs in the areas of consumer protection, employment and disability discrimination, and class action litigation.He has represented clients in disputes involving the violations of many different consumer and civil rights statutes.
Mr. Bland is also a Staff Attorney with Public Justice, in Washington, D.C.He has litigated several major class action cases which have resulted in judgments or favorable settlements for plaintiffs.He has argued almost 20 cases that produced reported decisions establishing important rules of law that are favorable to consumers.
Mr. Bland received his A.B. in Government from Georgetown University in 1983 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1986.
Mr. Bland is a member of the State Bar of Maryland and D.C., the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, the National Association of Consumer Advocates (he was also on NACA's board for six years, three of them as co-chair), the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association.
