   Aaron Bland began drumming at the age of thirteen in Kansas City, MO. There he studied under Rob Leytham who was a well known instructor and columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine. At age fourteen Aaron moved to Gilbert, Arizona and enrolled in lessons at The Bobby Domings Drum Studios under Bobby Domings for most of his high school years. Aaron also had the opportunity to take lessons with Mike Mangini and legendary drummer Jim Chapin.

   Currently Aaron spends most of his time teaching at the Bobby Domings Drum Studios, playing with newly formed band Lightyear, and attending recording classes at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona.
