Aaron Bland (President and Lead Designer): A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aaron's passion for mountain biking goes way back to when he began racing cross country and DH as a teenager in Wisconsin. As he honed his technical know-how in college, he began dreaming up crazy ideas for applying his engineering prowess to mountain bikes. After college, Aaron landed a gig designing frames for PDC Racing in British Columbia and later attended the UBI bike school in Ashland, OR, which saw him take his bike design skills to the next level.Prior to founding Function Bikes, Aaron also worked on engineering projects from fire fighting equipment to race car parts and everything in between. He's stoked to finally have a company committed to bringing customers the sweetest performance parts and bikes you'll find, all made with pride right here in beautiful Oregon.
