High school student Daniel Blanchard learned the hard way what assholes Placer County, California cops can be. The high school student posted bong hit photos on his MySpace page, which caught the attention of the school's resource police officer. Calling the teen into his office to question him about the profile, the deputy sheriff performed a search of Blanchard's backpack and discovered cannabis.

Daniel Blanchard, 18, of Loomis, was arrested Friday on suspicion of intending to make a destructive device, possession of a weapon on school grounds and possessing marijuana for sale, concentrated cannabis and a hypodermic needle.

Daniel Blanchard, 18, a student at Del Oro High School was arrested last Friday by Placer County sheriff's deputies.The deputy assigned to the campus saw Blanchard's photo on his Web site and called him to his office to discuss it.Blanchard allegedly admitted smoking marijuana.

Blanchard was taken into custody and arrested on felony charges of intent to make a destructive device, possession of a weapon on school grounds, possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of marijuana for sales and possession of a hypodermic needle.He was booked into Placer County Jail but posted $150,000 bail and was released.

Blanchard's arraignment is scheduled for May 24 in Placer County Superior Court.
