Mr. Blanchard practises primarily in taxation and corporate law.Until 1977, he practised in the Tax Litigation Section of the Department of Justice in Ottawa.

Professional Involvement

Mr. Blanchard is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation, of which he was Governor from 1980 to 1983.Over the years, he has also served as a director or officer of non-profit organizations and of public and private corporations.

He also lectured in Taxation at the Faculty of Law of Université Laval and at the Quebec Bar Admission Course for more than ten years.
