Though residents ultimately were not affected by the hurricane, having a tool in place for safe, quick evacuations was a relief for Ralph Bishop, the community's executive director.
"The 3n system is delivering in our time of need.
It quickly and efficiently communicates potentially life-saving information.
We are relieved to have a reliable system to assist us during emergencies," he said.
Bishop has upgraded his package after only a few months of use because of the system's demonstrated value.
"We have been using the 3n system more than we originally anticipated, especially for urgent messages in non-emergency situations, including alarm testing, electricity loss after storms and other routine issues such as voting," he said.
