Alan Biggar, Head of Private Clients at Bell Lawrie in Edinburgh (part of Brewin Dolphin) is undertaking a challenge to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust. The Drive for Zoë will take place in the second half of June 2008, when Alan will drive his 50 year old Morgan Plus 4 around all 39 Brewin Dolphin offices.The map below shows these range from Inverness in the North, to the Channel Islands in the South, as well as across to Belfast.The journey is expected to last for up to two weeks.Alan is delighted to have the full support of Brewin Dolphin behind him and be able to use the branch network as the basis of his challenge.
"Sharon King, Zoë's mother, has worked in our company for many years and, having witnessed this tragedy, I decided I wanted to help Sharon and John continue with Zoë's work for Teenage Cancer Trust" said Alan."Clearly Zoë was a very special person, being able to do so much for TCT as well as study and play her music, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends".
Drive for Zoë starts in Edinburgh on Sunday, 15th June 2008, heading down the East side of the country, arriving at the Channel Islands for the first weekend.Once back on the mainland, the Drive goes West towards Plymouth, then Northwards to Dumfries, over to Belfast then Glasgow, up to Inverness, finishing off Elgin, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh.
