Montclair soprano Geraldine Bianco will be among the soloists in "A Grand Night for Singing," the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical revue to be presented by the Theater League of Clifton on Sept. 21 through 23 and Sept. 28 through 30, at School No. 3, located at 365 Washington Ave. in Clifton.

Geraldine Bianco was heard this past spring singing for the New Jersey State Opera Guild on two separate occasions, singing both musical theater songs and opera arias.She also performs regularly with the Coro D'Italia, a traditional Italian performance group, singing opera arias and Neapolitan songs.
Bianco debuted at Carnegie Hall in "The Gift of Music" with soap star Vincent Irizarry of "All My Children" fame.She has sung with the Montclair Chamber Ensemble in their "Tribute to Bernstein" concert narrated by Jamey Bernstein Thomas, and with the Livingston Symphony.She has also performed concerts and recitals through-out the North Jersey area, including the Montclair Women's Club, the Woman's Club of Upper Montclair, the Van Vleck House & Gardens, the Madison Public Library, the Montclair Public Library and various area churches.
She has performed on national tours, as well as in regional and community theaters throughout the metropolitan area.She has sung the roles of Violetta in "La Traviata," Musetta in "La Boheme," Nanetta in "Falstaff," Frasquita in "Carmen," Eurydice in "Orpheus in the Underworld," The Fire in "L'Enfant et les Sortileges," and Sister Constance in "Dialogue of the Carmelites."

Bianco holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in voice and opera performance from Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music.She continued her training under the wing of the late Metropolitan Opera basso Jerome Hines.She is also the musical director of the annual musical at Rand Elementary School in Montclair, and has a private voice studio in Montclair.
