    Serving as our BNI Senior Class President, Tina went on to attend the University of Wisconsin where she received her BS degree. Having lived in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota, Tina currently resides in Highland, IN, with her mother and sister and two dogs Mollie and Tuffy. She works as a Project Manager for Unique Printers in Cicero, IL. In her spare time she is an active member of our 2005 Class Reunion Committee. Her hobbies and interests include gardening, painting, sculpture, cooking, and gemstone jewelry, as well as having worked as a volunteer at Northwestern University Hospitals.

    Tina is an Assistant Dean, and Associate Professor at Washington State University College of of Nursing. She received a B.S. in Nursing from the College of St. Teresa in Winona, MN, and a Masters in Community Health Nursing at the University of Colorado graduate school. Tina was a member of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps Reserve for 4 years, and she belongs to professional nursing organizations and community organizations related to health care access. For hobbies, Tina enjoys family, friends, and reading. Tina has lived in Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado and Washington, and has traveled to Mexico and Canada. In high school, Tina participated in the Pep Club and French Club. She recalls fond memories of screaming at basketball games and beating Hammond High in football, and credits her BNI experience with giving her a good foundation for future life learnings. Tina says that the thing that would surprise classmates the most is that she has been a cancer survivor for the past eight years. Her philosophy of life, "This is hard to relate in a few words. I think one has to relish the moments in life and attempt to love what you do." In closing, Tina adds, "I hope that you all have a wonderful reunion.

    Tina is home from the hospital after yet another surgery on her leg. She is self-administering IVs four times per day to battle any infection and will go in yet again for surgery to remove antibiotic pellets in another week. She is trying to keep a positive attitude and is planning to dance at our 60th birthday party next year. She has a home e-mail of bialekh@aol.com.     It was with a twinge of sadness that Tina Bialek was not able to be with us after she had worked so paintakingly on the classy Reunion Booklet that was handed out to all attendees.Seems somehow Tina managed to break a bone in her leg w/o quite realizing it until the doctor insisted on casting it, turning Tina's Dynasty reservation into one at Community Hospital.Luckily, she and her team were ahead of the game and the Booklets were printed and delivered in time for our Big Gig.
