  Roberta "Bertie" Bialek, Carmel, California, is a long-time community volunteer. Bertie has served on the Boards of the Monterey County Symphony, Carmel Bach Festival, Community Foundation for Monterey County, and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. She currently serves on the Monterey Bay Aquarium Board and is a member of the President's Council at California State University Monterey Bay. Bertie is an enthusiast of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, having attended plays in Ashland for the past 27 years.
