Former RealNetworks CFO Joins Emerging Technology Leader
Bellevue, WA (October 21, 2002) - digiMine, Inc., the leader in data mining and analytic solutions for business people, today announced Paul Bialek has joined the company as chief financial officer.Bialek oversees all accounting, financing, budgeting and reporting functions.He brings to digiMine more than twenty years of experience in financial management.

Prior to digiMine, Bialek was chief financial officer and senior vice president of finance and operations for RealNetworks, Inc., a publicly traded Internet media company.During his tenure, RealNetworks annualized quarterly revenue grew from under $30 million to approximately $250 million and the company achieved profitability.Before joining RealNetworks in 1998, Bialek was CFO for Metapath Software Corporation, a venture stage software company with products for the wireless telecommunications industry.From 1993 to 1997, he was CFO for Edmark Corporation, a publicly traded multimedia software company acquired by IBM in 1996.Bialek started his career at KPMG Peat Marwick, where he worked in a variety of positions for 11 years, primarily focused on private and public technology companies.
