Prior to joining Watermill Ventures in 1998, Ms. Bialek was a Teacher's Assistant in Economics at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and studied in Aix-en-Provence, France.Additionally, she was an Intern at Alliance Française of Cambridge & Boston, and through Global Volunteers offered her assistance in a community development project in Costa Rica.

Ms. Bialek received her B.A. from William Smith College.She is married and enjoys playing tennis, sailing and skiing.
