Mayank is responsible for evaluating, implementing and managing AVISTA's information technology initiatives.He brings over 17 years of experience as a highly successful technology architect and a motivated project manager in the information technology field with an extensive background in finance, marketing and travel.

As Senior Vice President of Technology, and Chief Technology Officer of Avista Holdings, Mayank carries a vision and belief on how information technology will impact industries and individuals today and tomorrow, stimulating interest in innovative application technologies with developers and consumers.

Mike, a University of Bombay (India) graduate with accounting, commerce and economics went on to complete his graduate studies at the Appalachian State University, North Carolina.

During the twelve years with the State of California he was instrumental in developing and implementing the first statewide TCP/IP Wide Area Network.He was also responsible to introduce many new cutting edge technologies in the state government.From introducing the first laptop computers for field tax auditors in 1989 to designing, developing and implementing the Intranet for over 20,000 employees in 1997, Mike has demonstrated his leadership and his ability to succeed while taking measurable risks.Mike has consistently shown a clear vision for the future with successful implementations of large technology projects.
