Kumar Bhatt

Ashok Kumar Bhatt , serves on the Delinquency Prevention Commission for the City and sits on the State of California's Prevention on Hate Crimes Commission.He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Indo American Associations.From 1996-1998 he was a member of the State's Workforce for Welfare Commission.Commissioner Bhatt emigrated to the United States in 1982 from India where he was personal secretary to the Deputy of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament.Currently he is president of several companies involved in real estate , property management and investment banking.Commissioner Bhatt was appointed by Mayor Willie L. Brown , Jr. in March , 2000 and his term expires in January , 2003.
