   Frank Bettini , son of the late Frank S. and Lillie Underwood Bettini , was a lifelong resident of the Brightwood School Community.
   ...
   Mr. Bettini was employed for 14 years with Southern Railway as a welder ; and as a driver for ETWNC and Sears Signal Delivery. He was later employed as a maintenance person for Taylor and Weaver Realty. Survivors include his wife of 63 years , Mary Martin Bettini of Beverly Starmount Health Care ; sons , Charles E. Bettini , Sr. of Burlington , Kenneth W. ( Shirley ) Bettini of Pelham , Ala. , Ronald ( Kay ) Bettini of Greensboro , Richard ( Susan ) Bettini of Gibsonville ; daughters , Patricia Murphy and Lynne ( Edward ) Rich of Gibsonville , Barbara ( Tom ) Durham of Greensboro , Janice ( Gary ) Stoneman of Rocky Mount , Va. ; brothers , Leno L. Bettini of Jamestown , Charles U. Bettini of Greensboro ; sisters , Dora Brown of Gibsonville , Zaidee Nelson of Crab Orchard , Ky. , Norma Saunders of Greensboro ; 15 grandchildren ; 12 great-grandchildren ; and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. Bettini was preceded in death by his parents , Frank and Lillie Bettini ; sister , Katherine Green ; son-in-law , Richard Murphy ; and grandson , Ken Stoneman. In lieu of flowers , the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice at Greensboro , 2500 Summit Avenue , Greensboro , N.C. 27405.
