   Michele M. Betti is an associate in the San Francisco office in the firm's professional liability department. Ms. Betti devotes a major portion of her practice to the defense of professional liability claims on behalf of attorneys, accountants and financial industry professionals in both state and federal court.
   
   In addition to professional liability matters, Ms. Betti has also handled medical malpractice, products liability, asbestos, and state and federal criminal cases.
   
   Affiliations & Accomplishments:
   
   Ms. Betti was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. In 2000, Ms. Betti joined the United States Air Force, Judge Advocate General's Office (JAG) where she achieved the rank of Captain. As lead trial counsel, Ms. Betti successfully prosecuted several felony trials. Ms. Betti is admitted to practice in all of California's United States District Courts - Southern, Central and Northern, and is also admitted in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

   Ms. Betti graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.A. in International Relations (1993). She received her J.D. (1999), from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California.
