As he was growing up, Jeff's parents owned and operated a carpet and drapery store, which allowed Jeff the opportunity to tour countless homes.It was during this period of his life that Jeff first developed an affinity for homes.Wanting a new challenge after an outstanding career as an assistant professor at San Francisco State University and the University of California Berkeley, Jeff left the Bay area and headed to San Diego.
