   Lance H. Betson, D.O.
   
   Dr. Betson received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and his Osteopathic medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas and his three-year sub-specialty training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at the UCLA School of Medicine at Harbor-ULCA Medical Center.
   
   Dr. Betson currently holds academic positions at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center as the Division Chief of Gynecology and the Assistant Residency Director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He also is a member of the teaching faculty as an Assistant Professor at both Martin Luther King Hospital for the UroGynecology Division, and the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Professional memberships include the American UroGynecology Society and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
   
   Dr. Betson has been a part-time practicing member at the Gunn Center of Gynecology & Female Urology staff for almost four years. In addition to teaching tomorrows physicians, he enjoys educating patients and encouraging them to become active in their healthcare planning and decision-making.
   
   Dr. Betson and his wife, Terry, are the proud parents of their son, Hayden, and they enjoy hiking, golf and travel.
