   The recipient of the registration scholarship is Meg Beturne, Hampden, Massachusetts. She is a member of The Alliance member organization, the American Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (ASPAN). Ms. Beturne is an active member of the ASPAN Strategic Work Team and serves as Chair of Strategic Planning for the Massachusetts Society of PeriAnesthesia Nurses (MASPAN). She also served as ASPAN's 25th President. Ms. Beturne will be leading a delegation of perianesthesia nurses to China in November 2007, where they will be participating in focus groups with their Chinese colleagues.
